Concept development
AVGD was engaged to develop a visual identity toolkit, which consists of the application of the University of Melbourne’s elements for the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences Impact Areas.
With consideration from the University’s brand team, we came up with a design system that utilises the University’s masterbrand whilst defining its own voice.
The University of Melbourne’s Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences has launched a bold research initiative. The Impact Areas.
They seek to drive meaningful change in prevention and health equity, curing chronic diseases, and transforming healthcare.
Each Area will advance health challenges locally and globally, by combining the University’s breadth of expertise with industry, government and communities.
All of the Impact Areas Research Initiative executions use the University’s Fibonacci grid design system as a guide for the location and size of all elements, as well as set colours and tints within the University’s colour palette.
The Bush medicine artwork (pictured on the publication cover) is used to identify the Impact Areas Research Initiative at the top level only. It plays a key role in identifying the Impact Areas Research Initiative and highlighting the work they do at a research, treatment and community level.
