We were approached by the University of Melbourne to create a series of billboards and posters for the second annual Billboard Poetry project, consisting of more than 370 submissions from students, staff, alumni, and strangers.
During August 2025, the 12 winning poems were up on posters around the city and other Melbourne suburbs, plus a feature from Miriam Webster.
The concept allows the poetry to speak loudest, with no call-to-actions or prompts to do anything. This gives the viewer a moment of stillness, to really take in the words.
